M.Tech Mechanical Engineering Student won the Best Paper Award

Students of GLA University, Mathura are making a huge difference around the world. Recently in an International Conference ICARAE organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Cape Peninsula Technical University, a student of GLA University, Mathura was honored with the Best Paper award for his research.

In ICARAE conference, educators and researchers presented their papers. A total of 495 papers were submitted in this conference out of which 180 papers were accepted as per standards of conference norms. Among all the research papers in the mechanical engineering domain, a research paper titled “Micro farming and its applications- an overview” by author Sachin Sharma was deemed to be of superior quality. This research was done under supervision of Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Saxena. Sachin Sharma said that this research is based on micro parts used in aerospace and automobile industry. The highlights of this research are the process of manufacturing micro parts and its application.

Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Piyush Singhal said that interest of engineering students is growing in research field which is good sign for Indian economy. Prof. Kamal Sharma, Dean Research, GLA University, Mathura congratulated the student and said we are proud of our students and our faculties engaged in the research work.
