Prof. Kamal Sharma appointed as new Dean Research, GLA University, Mathura

Prof. Kamal Sharma has served GLA University, Mathura as a Professor and a passionate researcher in Department of Mechanical Engineering. His contribution to GLA University as Associate Dean Research is incomparable. In his leadership, university established many benchmarks in research and the University emerged as one of the leading research institutes in India and abroad.

Now, we are pleased to announce that Prof. Kamal Sharma has been appointed as a new Dean Research at GLA University, Mathura. He took the charge as Dean Research from 13th Jan 2022. GLA University is fully confident that the responsibility of research at GLA is on the right shoulders and he will fulfil his duty with full force undoubtedly. Prof. Kamal Sharma always encourages the faculty and students towards research. He regularly organizes research events to spread awareness of research activities and patents publication.


Prof. Kamal Sharma has done his Ph.D. from MNNIT, Prayagraj with a research field on polymer nanocomposites and solar nano composites. He has published a number of research articles in reputed national and international journals. Moreover, he has published more than 50 Patents of which several patents have been granted and ready for technology transfer. Besides this, He is one of the founding members of various research centers in GLA University, Mathura. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education [ISTE], Faculty Associate Member, ASME Student Chapter GLA, University Associate Member, Indian Institution of Production Engineers.

He has 20+ years of experience in Teaching and has supervised a number of thesis and projects. He is recognized as very good teacher by the research students of university. The University congratulate him for his success and hopes that he would continue his hard-work and keep on inspiring the upcoming generation.
