Dr. Anuj Receives Young Scientist Award

Dr. Anuj Kumar is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of chemistry, GLA University, Mathura, India. He completed his Ph.D. in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Randhir Singh at Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar. He joined Prof Xiaoming Sun’s research group as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China for two years (2017-19). During his post-doctoral program, he has also been guiding many overseas students for their research. Currently, He is guiding 4 doctoral and 4 Masters’ and 8 UG thesis. He is working broadly in the field of Macrocyclic Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Fuel Cell Technology, Nano Chemistry. He has an expertise in the development of activity and reactivity descriptors for molecular-based electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction, oxygen evolution reaction, and design of new molecular catalysts supported on nano-carbons.

He has published more than 42 articles in reputed peer-reviewed international journals, some of them are Coordination Chemistry Reviews, (IF:22.31), Applied Catalysis B: Environmental (IF:19.05), Small Methods, (IF:14.18), Science Bulletin, (IF:11.78), Materials Today Physics, (IF:10.44), ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, (IF:9.22), Nano Research, (IF:8.89), ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, (IF:8.19), Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers, (IF:6.56), Chinese Journal of Catalysis, (IF:6.14), ACS Applied Energy Mater, (IF:6.02), International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, (IF:5.81), Chinese Chemical Letters, (IF:4.68). He has also contributed more than 12 book chapters in Elsevier, Springer, CRC Press book series. He has also published two Indian Patents.

 

For outstanding contribution in the field of research, Dr. Anuj Kumar has been awarded with “Best Young Scientist Award 2021” from Tamil Nadu association of Intellectuals and Faculty (TAIF) and GRBS Educational Charitable Trust, “Young Researcher Award 2020”, by Central Education Growth and Research (CEGR), India. Based on the quality of research publication, he has been conferred with “Best Researcher Award 2019-20”, by GLA University, Mathura, India. In the field of innovative research, he received “Best Innovation Award 2019-20”, from GLA University, Mathura, India, and in classroom teaching (graduate/post-graduate/PhD students), he was conferred with “Best Faculty Award 2020”, by GLA University, Mathura, India.

 

Dr. Anuj Kumar has been engaged to act as reviewer of Advance material Science and Natural Science: Materials International, Results in Physics, Journal of Chemical Science and Chemical Engineering, Applied Nano Science, RSC Advances, Journal of Nanoparticles, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and Nano LIFE. He is also engaged as editor/editorial member of Nano LIFE, Mini-Reviews in Organic Chemistry (Section Editor), Journal of Chemical Science and Chemical Engineering, American Journal of Applied Chemistry, and serving as guest editor in many special issues of scientific journals.
