It was in the year 1998 that the first step was taken by Shri Narayan Das Agrawal to fulfill his father's dream by establishing the GLA Institute of Technology and Management. It went on to take the shape of GLA Group of Institutions and finally became GLA University. GLA University provides education to more than 12000 students with Diploma. Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral levels in various disciplines of Engineering, Management, Commerce, Legal Studies, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Education, Science, and Humanities. More than 750 well-qualified and experienced faculty members and 700+ dedicated staff work full-time for professional as well as personal development of Students.   We have 110+ acres of lush green eco-friendly residential campus with 6000+ hostellers. Supported by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, GLA is proud of its New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (NewGen IEDC) which aims to inculcate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the young students; encourage and support start-up creation through guidance, mentorship, and support. It thrives to become, by 2025, a vibrant hub of entrepreneurial activity in the North Indian region, such that local entrepreneurs drawn from students, faculty, staff, and other local communities can Incubate, nurture and grow business ideas into full-fledged companies with a significant market presence.

GLA germinates innovation, entrepreneurship and  leadership qualities through Innumerable practical, do-it-yourself, and experiential learning at local and global levels.
