GLA University Signed MoU with Shikum Pharmaceutical Private Limited

GLA University is reaching new heights in the field of pharmacy. The MoU signed between GLA University, Mathura and Shikum Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Sultanpur will provide students with new opportunities in research and development of new medicines. This MoU came to in effect after the signed by Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Registrar, GLA University and Mr. Alok Kumar Singh, Managing Director, Shikum Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.

Prof. Meenakshi Bajpai, Director, Department of Pharmacy said that this will increase the awareness regarding research in pharmacy and medicine among the students through industrial visits.

Prof. Dilip Kumar Sharma, Dean Academic Collaboration, stated that the ultimate goal of GLA University, Mathura is for every student to just get practical knowledge rather than simply bookish information. During the meeting, CEO of Shikum Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Alok Kumar Singh said that now students will receive practical knowledge of new innovations directly from experts of Shikum Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Moreover, the university students will have the opportunity to visit the industry and internship at there.
