GLA Faculties in the top 2% most cited scientist list of Stanford University

A scientific research is among the sensitive indicators of the quality of Science being done in the country. On 19 Oct 2021, the US-based Stanford University recently published a list that represents the top 2% of the most cited Scientists in various discipline in 2020. This list consists of 1,59,683 names of scientists all over the world. It is really a proud moment for GLA University, Mathura that its five faculty members representing our country India are in this list:

      1.      Anirudh Pradhan in Physics & Astronomy (Mathematics Dept.)
2.      Kamal Sharma in Enabling & Strategic (Mechanical Engineering)
3.      Pradeep K. Singh in Enabling &Strategic (Mechanical Engineering)
4.      Panchanan Pramanic in Material (Chemistry Department)
5.      Deepak Kumar Das in Clinical Medicine (Chemistry Department)

The inclusion of GLA Faculties in the list shows the quality of scientific research being done in the university. Prof. Anirudh Pradhan, Dean R&D has more than 6000 citation over his publications and Prof. Kamal Sharma, Associate Dean Research has 1500+ citation over their publications with high impact factor. This is really an inspiration for young researchers and students of the university.

University encourages its faculties and students for research activities and innovation. It has 11 research centres equipped with latest technology and research equipments. Besides this university has signed a number of MoUs with leading research organizations from India and abroad. Now, GLA University is achieving new heights by publishing patents and research papers of high Impact factor.
